I have a custom edition server with a good bit of the custom maps loaded into it. I think it'd be pretty cool if we got some innerclan scrims on some custom maps. For those of you that don't know you can dl the game and some maps at www.halomaps.org

Yeah, i would LOVE to get some CE games going, but no one ever wants to play when it gets down to scrim time.

because:

1) not everyone has CE
2) maps need to be downloaded
3) Pun hasn't been around in a while and he loves CE
4) everyones lazy

yo, anyone who has a CE server, post your mapcycle here. That's the best way to get everyone on the same page. I LOVE custom Ed. I wish everyone else did.

what are you talking about mistake? the lead is improved, there are more components to the actual game, more maps, a healthy underground community, and it's free to download. HCE originally should have been an huge update to HPC but people were lazy.

let's get this going, it'll be nice to scrim on some different maps. i'm tired of the 2v2 carousel/co/rr/heh or 4v4/5v5 bg/sw/dc/timbo myself, and maybe some others are also. it gets really boring. there are some amazing maps out nowadays if you checkout Halomaps.org.

HCE > HPC

ALL of the classic maps that we all know and love are available in CE, IN ADDITION TO all available custom content. So, if you load CE but feel like playing a 2v2 heh, go right ahead. There is no difference whatsoever in-game to the CE classic maps vs the same map on HPC.

I'm not proposing that we all download everything available. some of it is garbage, and some of it is really good!

scenario: member goes out and finds a map they like. Post here: hey, this map is tight, would work well for 2v2, 3v3, etc. Post link to map dl here. server admin dl's it and installs it on their FTP. Everyone else dl's it. we go to the server and play the damned map! So, next time we're all in teamspeak, we're getting ready for an in-clan scrim, we load CE instead of HPC. connect by ip or find in lobby. Experience is EXACTLY the same as HPC, except you can play more maps. simple.

I agree with bakery.

How can you love halo and not love halo custom edition. IT'S THE SAME FUCKING GAME!!!

I couldnt really enjoy CE before because my garbage gfx made me lag on the custom maps. But now that I have a good card, I actually like some of the maps. Hit me up if u want to play chronic

I actually have before. There's like a secret room in there too I found once.

Perfect racing map
Large map, but fun if there are enough people
Halo 2 zanzibar (I personally don't really like halo 2 though)

I also remember one of the very first maps released, it was large and you needed a lot of tactic to get the flag. With a tank in the middle. Damn that was a good map. Anyone still know the name??

The lead is different in haloCE though. But I don't know the exact details.
