i get 45 fps now!
it was anywhere between 15-30 before yus!
i can actually play halo now!

rasterizer_fps 1 doesn't do anything but show your fps, it doesn't "optimize" your computer or anything.

ffs, doesnt anybody know how to optimize their computer? (rasterize_fps shows the frames that have been processed by dynamic objects for alpha change, shadowing and basic "rasterization")
Xfire has a new feature which shows the FPS your monitor is outputting, and (now) they have a lil clock, so you nerds can't complain "you lost track of time"....

go get "speedupmypc" and don't optimize the "junk files" cuz it thinks strings.dll is a junk file (ffs)... but its RAM optimization and CPU optimization is sexy....

The only good thing about vista - After a while it expects you to use certain programs, and makes them load REALLY fast (COD4 started as a 15 second start up, and now it's instant).

i agree...
Vista is a completely modified Windows OS...
if u notice, XP is similar to 2000, NT, 98 and 95.... they all use the same base system files
Vista is a new set of system files and more efficient uses of its processes, which makes a lot of programs unusable (since they may need certain files) and it hogs a lot of CPU (hence its web2.0-ability)
but overall, vista just sucks, since u cant mod/hack shit, or bypass any of its security updates (which is still pending on hackers nowadays)....

Using the little xfire tool, it says i get around 20-30 fps... but as soon as there's more than 4 ppl on the screen, my entire screen becomes a slideshow :s .. I've tried just about everything I've found on the net, and none of them worked, so I use -useff... which as most ppl said is freking ugly as hell.
Was wonderin if any of you guys had something to help me out with. Btw, I have dual-core 2.8 Ghz, Nvidia 6150... So Halo shouldn't have much trouble running at all... Yet it does. PLZ help!

Why would you buy a computer with a 2.8Ghz dual core and a graphics chip that would be better off as toilet paper?
