[XK] Clan

There has been much discussion recently of having a [XK] presence in 04. The advantages of playing in 04 are that there are no aimbots. The problem with 04 is that the majority of the clans aren’t competitive. They think one match is all they need to determine who is better, when in fact is is about scrimming one another consistently. We lack servers but lash and temp can provide home dedicated servers for game use. I am not sure if you can buy a dedicated server and place it into 04. Nebulous you would know, (XE) had a dedi in 04 years ago and it was pretty sweet.

All of this is not to say that we won't get beat because we will, certainly if we play our teams right we'll have the most consistent victories because our roster is well rounded and located all over the world. East Coast servers, West Coast servers and EU. We have experience overall.

More or less if there was an active presence of [XK]'s in 04 we could have our own servers and ensure legit play? Eventually create our own clan ladders? With such a small community intact it would be easy; much like [XK] in 02. If any of you old schoolers remember the tournaments we had. GG.

This post is to see what the community and [XK] thinks of the proposal.

I think we should keep it the way we are. Be 07 clan that pubs in ALL versions.
1. My servers wont work in 04. Believe me ive tried.
2. 07 noobs beat 04 noobs 1v1 any day
3. Its just laggy, because theres no paid dedis.

It should be but it is not for the main fact that this vote is based on what the general community thinks. Regardless, if the vote favors 04 it will not be the deciding factor till it is placed in the members section and discussed amongst the leaders. It is a mere suggestion to see what the community thinks. I think I stated that in my initial post.

hardly any servers
hardly any good people to play
hardly any fun to be hard
barely worth the hassle of starting again
barely worth the time in getting servers

all in all. a waste of time and effort, moving into a community that has been dead longer than 07.

Halo PC 07 is dead, and has been for a while now.
How would moving into 04 [which has been dead for longer than 07 and is more pathetic] going to give any benefits to [XK].

I agree with Scene. Just pub there if ppl want to, but dont put any effort into 04.

04 has more drama and a closer knit community...Which provides potential for more fun IMO
